We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. It has to be illustrator (or flash, freehand, corel draw) as these programs all work in vectors. You might be able ot get the same effects with various photoshop methods but it wouldnt be as good.
Vectors are mathematically created so basically you can resize your image to any size without any quality loss. Photoshop deals in raster graphics so rather than mathematics/vectors you are working with pixels.
